Home > International Jobs in London

Possibly the world's leading city, London heads the pack in a multitude of disciplines. Finance, arts, food, architecture, you can go on and on. Placed on the doorstep of Europe and yet closely tied with the US, London combines culture with capitalism.
Career opportunities in London are endless, with the economy still in a boom phase after many strong years; there are employment opportunities in all sectors. Salaries are high, but are somewhat negated by the high cost of living.
Every form of recreational activity is available to you and with the city so well located and served by a large number of budget airlines, all major European cities are only a few Euros away!
A comprehensive, if not perfect, public transport system enables you to explore the extremely rich and highly diverse communities and environments contained within London. Both unique and eclectic, London is the result of 100s of nationalities living in it since Roman times.
If you are from an EU country, you are able to freely come and work in the UK. For non-EU citizens there are a number of work visa programs. The Highly Skilled Migrant Program is one of the best methods available, but you will also need a job offer to be approved.

How Does The Recruitment Process Work?
Once you have been short listed by a potential employer you will first have a telephone interview.
Depending on the seniority of the job that you have been selected for you will be flown over for a face-to-face interview.
This will also be your opportunity to research your new city in more detail.
If you successfully pass the interview(s) you will be offered the job.
You then can start salary package negotiations.
Usually, if an employer is relocating you, they will pay for:
- Flights to the new city.
- Some part or all of your accommodation costs.
- Or your hotel costs while you search for accommodation.
- Your visa.
- Your dependants’ visas.
- In some cases a commuting allowance is paid.
- Medical insurance.
